Perfect for your special Valentine’s dinner for two! Easy to prepare – but oh so special! Serve with fruit or cubes of our wonderful WSM quick bread.
- 12 ounces of Equal Exchange semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 8 ounces of heavy cream
- 1 bag Equal Exchange Organic Earl Grey Black Tea (in bag)
- a pinch of salt
Items to Dip: strawberries, banana pieces cut into 1-inch chunks, dried apricots, candied ginger, apple pieces, cake cubes
Directions:
1. Place chocolate in a fondue pot or small crockpot.
2. Place cream in a small pot and heat until small bubbles appear on the surface and cream is just about to boil. Remove from heat.
3. Pour hot cream over the chocolate (do not stir) and place teabag in the cream.
4. Allow to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove the teabag and stir gently. Chocolate should completely melt as you stir. If not – gently add more heat and continue to stir.
5. Serve warm in the fondue pot or small crockpot with strawberries, banana, apricots, ginger, apples, or cake.
