Locally-made eye pillows and comfort wraps

Think you missed out on these newly-found, locally-made items (those products brought in at the last minute during Christmas and were grabbed up before they could even be stocked!)? Well...they're back, just in time for Valentine's!

Nana's Natural's began as a home project when Nana decided that she could make one of those mass-produced seed-filled pillows for a neck ache with better ingredients and a better design. She uses 100% cotton for the covers and flax seed from Weaver Street Market with a little lavender for scent. The small eye pillows have a smooth cotton finish and a cut out for the bridge of your nose. The wraps are made with comforting flannel and come in two designs. One is the basic wrap, a small rectangle filled with seeds and the other has three chambers so that the seeds remain spread out and don't clump. Both can be used to wrap around wrists or ankles or stretched along the back or tummy. They're great for soothing jumpy nerves and are excellent for calming children. The pillows can be heated or cooled, depending on your needs.

The fabric selections range from brightly colored ethnic patterns to fun, whimsical patterns. For Valentine's Day Nana has designed some special gifts with fun fabrics that will warm your loved one's neck and heart!

Market-Made Truffles!
Brought to you by Brian Cook, WSM Bread Bakery Manager
How does a bread bakery manager come to be making truffles? The answer is that Brian just loves chocolate and loves making truffles. He learned to make his truffles from the Chocolate Guru, Chef Budd, at the Culinary Institute of America. Once he learned to make truffles, he (of course) became addicted to these amazing sweets. He made them for a select group of friends each year at Christmas and now that he's in a new role at Weaver Street Market, folks are asking that he make them for everyone. So, as a special Valentine's Day Treat, Weaver Street Market will be offering a limited quantity of delicious, mouthwatering, handmade truffles, lovingly brought to you by Brian.

(Did you know the truffle was so named because the original handmade, rather misshapen truffles resembled the rare fungus of the same name?)
