Some of us are summer regulars. But for those of you who spent the past few months off adventuring around the corner or around the world, welcome back! Whether you're headed back to work, back to school, or just back to enjoying life here in the Piedmont, we're glad you're back and hope you'll stop by and see what's new alongside your old favorites. Getting back into the swing of things often means a busy schedule. One of my favorite new dishes for this Fall is the Pasta Express bowls from Pomodoro & C. The first time I put the Puttanesca Gobbetti Pasta with Black Olives & Caper Sauce in my microwave, I was expecting something that would taste like instant pasta. Instead, four minutes later, I got a firm bowl of delicious noodles that were full of flavor. More

The little town of San Francisco del Monte, birthplace of football (soccer, of course) in Mexico, is now a quiet and forgotten place. But Don Pepe, an old janitor from the town's school, is trying to unite a group of kids into a football team, in order to give San Francisco del Monte the recognition it deserves. Their strength and love for the game will lead them to play a championship game, in the most important field of Mexico City.

New Reusable Bags are here!
Only 99¢!
Weaver Street Market rolled out its new reusable bag as part of our 20th Anniversary initiative to reduce the number of disposable paper and plastic bags we use.

Our new reusable bags are strong and easy to load with a bottom stiffener to protect groceries. The handles are long enough to hang the bag on your shoulder or dangle at your side. They are made of 100% non-woven polypropylene, which is non-toxic, allergen free and non-reactive to food or human skin. They repel odor, dirt, and liquids. To clean them simply shake out and wipe down the bottom stiffener. They can be machine washed in cold water and lined dry with no shrinkage or fading.

Look for the bright purple bags with our 20th Anniversary logo at each location and help us reduce the number of paper and plastic bags entering our waste stream.
