Happy Thanksgiving from Weaver Street Market! Thanksgiving is our busiest time of the year. We've been ordering and organizing for weeks. You'll see us hustling around the store stocking shelves, prepping produce, and answering questions. Brian Cook, Bread Bakery Manager, estimates that they will produce 3,500 rolls for your dinner!

Friday Night Wine Tastings
Most Friday nights, Weaver Street Market offers a selection of wines for you to taste in our Carrboro and Southern Village Wine Departments. Knowledgeable wine representatives are on hand to talk about the wine and where it comes from. This is a great opportunity to expand your wine palate, stock your cellar, or buy a gift for that upcoming dinner.

Join in the holiday fun of Chapel Hill/Carrboro Christmas Parade.
The parade begins at noon at the Moorehead Planetarium and travels along Franklin Street to Main Street in Carrboro and on to the Carrboro Town Hall. Warm up at Weaver Street Market with one of our special Winter drinks.

Both Weaver Street Market and Panzanella will be open regular business hours on Friday, Saturday, Sunday following Thanksgiving.

Classified Ads for January are due in our Carrboro Store by 9 pm Sunday, December 4. Please limit your word count to 50 words or fewer. Cost is $10/month for owners and $15/month for non-owners. You may pay for as many months as you wish.

Gingerbread House Workshop
Saturday, December 10, 3 - 5pm
Learn how to make and decorate a charming Gingerbread House! And take yours home! Assembly of a Gingerbread House and decorating tricks will be demonstrated. Pre-assembled houses and candies for decorations are provided. Plus you will have a recipe and instructions for house assembly to take home.

Anne Everitt, Cooking Instructor, and former Weaver Street Market Pastry Baker, teaches classes in baking and cooking out of her home, and at A Southern Season. Anne's informal style makes her classes fun and informative for everyone to enjoy.

This class is for ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. The cost is $30 per person. Each student will take home a decorated Gingerbread House. The class will be held at Anne's home in Chapel Hill. No previous experience is necessary, so join in the fun!

The class is limited to 12 people, so sign up now at the Carrboro Weaver Street Market Customer Service desk. Questions? Call Anne at 967-1513.

German Wine Dinner
Monday, December 12, 7-9 pm

Join us for a tasting of German wines. We'll explore what this country has to offer. Do you think all German wines are sweet? Do you think all German wines are white? Well, think again. We will be joined by Jutta Bracy of Owls Nest Distributors & Importers, she will challenge your idea of German wines and grape varieties. Portugieser, Sekt, Scheurebe, Dornfelder, these are just some of the incredibly interesting and delicous wines Germany has to offer. In honor of the holiday season, some of the tasty German wines we'll have to offer will be sparkling, of course! Plenty of delicious food will be served from the Panzanella kitchen to complement these wonderful wines.

Wine Dinner is $35 a ticket & space is limited, so reserve early. See you there! Tickets may be purchased at our Carrboro store or from Panzanella.
