You still have two Saturdays left to bring home a bit of Carrboro from the Saturday Farmers' Market to brighten up your holiday table. Some of the great produce items available are arugula & other greens, sweet potatoes, celeriac, persimmons, pecans, carrots, broccoli, radicchio, fennel, and more, all beautiful, bountiful, and yummy! The cheese-makers are still hard at work turning out delectable goat and cows' milk cheeses to add elegance and interest to your hors d'oeuvres plate. Mouth watering free-range chicken or pasture-raised pork breakfast sausage will get 'em to the table on time. More

Abita Beer Special
"Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale"

Abita Beer began crafting this new beer from the moment they saw their brewery had been miraculously spared any major damage from Hurricane Katrina. They are proud to be a Louisiana company and feel blessed that they are still able to produce their product and keep their employees working. For every six pack sold Abita Beer will donate $1.00 to the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation.

Fleur-de-lis Restoration ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. They liberally hopped and dry hopped the Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Weaver Street Market has the Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale in stock now for $6.99/6 pack. Purchase Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale merchandise at the website below.
New Product: Nirvana Manna
Synergistically blended, Nirvana Manna is a Raw Chocolate Superfood that tastes incredibly delicious!

What is a Superfood? A food or herb is considered a 'superfood' when it is so nutritionally powerful that by itself it is nutritionally complete. Raw honey, Coconut Oil, Maca, Cacao and Blue Green Algae - Nirvana Manna's main ingredients - are some of the most powerful superfoods on the planet. And when mixed together they compliment and magnify each other, producing even more benefits than each has by itself. This is why Nirvana Manna is described as a Super superfood. It is extremely energizing both physically and mentally.

December 13 through February 12
Reception Monday, January 9, 2006 5:30 - 7:30 pm

Working in mixed water-based media on paper, Nerys Levy portrays the forms and forces of nature -- North Carolina forests and marshes, Alpine masses and glaciers, cloud formations, gardens, and architectural forms altered by time and light. She often does a series of works of the same subject in shifting light, seasons and weather.
