An event every day that begins at 1:00pm, repeating until September 24, 2017
Triangle farmers open their farms to visitors during the Eastern Triangle Farm Tour. Visitors can learn about sustainable agriculture and local food production, visit cheese-makers, see farm animals, and enjoy the beauty of Triangle farms. They can meet the people who grow their food and see how it is grown.
A brochure with maps is available here:
To go on the tour, buy a button for a carload (or a group of bicyclists) to visit all the farms. A button costs $30 in advance. Buttons are available here:
• At Weaver Street Market stores
• Online from CFSA, here (scroll down)
• During the tour at any farm ($35)
The tour is self-guided; use the map to plan your visits and maximize your time at the farms. We suggest visiting 2 to 4 each day. The tour occurs RAIN OR SHINE.
