WSM’s Board of Directors seeks qualified candidates to run in the 2015 Board Elections. Two seats are open for election—one consumer-owner seat and one worker-owner seat.
To help owners assess their interests and qualifications, the Board has established new requirements for candidates in the 2015 Elections. The requirements encourage owners to learn about the work of the Board and its use of governance prior to seeking candidacy. The requirements include:
• Attending a Board Information Session on May 13 or June 10.
• Attending a Board meeting in 2015 and prior to application.
• Talking with a current Board member, prior to application, about the experience of serving on the Board.
