Mahogany Chicken Wings

INGREDIENTS:
• 3 pounds chicken wings, split and tips discarded (This week's Meat Special: Freebird Chicken Party Wings, on sale $2.99/lb, reg. price $3.99/lb, save $1.00/lb!)
• 1/2 cup soy sauce
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/4 cup molasses
• 2 tablespoons chile sauce
• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place chicken in a shallow, medium dish.
2. In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, molasses, chile sauce, ground ginger and garlic. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Cover and refrigerate approximately 1 hour, turning occasionally.
3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
4. In a large baking dish, arrange chicken in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven approximately 50 minutes, brushing with remaining soy sauce mixture often and turning once, until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear.
Roasted Pepper-Avocado Salsa

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 Pepper, halved and seeded (This week's Produce Special: Hot House Bell Peppers- red, orange or yellow, on sale $2.99/lb, reg. price $3.99/lb, save $1.00/lb!)
• 3 Anaheim chile Peppers
• 4 Avocados - peeled, pitted and diced (This week's Owner Special: Hass Avocadoes, on sale 4/$5, reg. price 3/$5, save 25%!)
• 4 large ripe Tomatoes, diced
• 1 large Onion, chopped
• 5 cloves Garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup Olive Oil (Managers special: Bella Famiglia Extra Virgin Olive Oil, on sale $7.99/1 liter, great savings!!!)
• 1 Lime, juiced
• 1 teaspoon kosher Salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground black Pepper
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to broil.
2. Arrange the Peppers on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Watch carefully and broil just until the skin blackens and blisters, remove.
3. Turn the Anaheim peppers and continue broiling until all sides are done. When completed, place peppers in a sealed paper bag to steam. After 15 to 20 minutes, remove peppers from the bag and peel the skin off each one.
4. Remove stems and seeds from the Anaheim peppers. Finely chop the peppers and place in a large bowl.
5. Combine the avocados, tomatoes, onion, garlic, olive oil, and lime juice with the pepper mixture. Season with salt and black pepper. Chill 1 hour before serving.
