Piedmont Farm Tour Every April Weaver Street Market support the Piedmont Farm Tour by producing maps, buttons and t-shirts to celebrate our local farmers and producers. Each year we help to raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association. April 24, 25, 2010 The Carrboro Film Festival every November! Southern Village 5K walk and run in December!	Carrboro Music Festival September 26, 2010 - All day, all over Carrboro! Hope for the Holidays Shoppers contribute to our Hope for the Holiday Fundraiser every December, raising over $6,000 for local charities!
Cooperative Community Fund Weaver Street Market’s Cooperative Community Fund is established as a permanent fund whose interest will be given annually to local groups working on issues relating to sustainable agriculture and organic food, hunger and social issues, environmental protection, and cooperatives. We expect that the CCF will grow rapidly to become a major factor in the achievement of our co-op’s mission to be a vibrant, sustainable commercial center.	Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Donation - $2500! Each year Weaver Street Market donates 5% of store sales to the MLK Scholarship Fund which awards scholarships to deserving Chapel Hill-Carrboro high school students. Since 1993, they have awarded over 50 scholarships to students from a variety of racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds who exhibit community leadership. Thank you for shopping at WSM on MLK, JR.
