It’s that time of year: you hurry from car to house to escape the heat. The shades are down to keep sunlight out, the AC is blasting. But it’s time for supper; what should you cook? There’s nothing worse than turning on a hot oven in the summertime!
With a little planning, you can leave the oven off. Why not make sandwiches? A well-crafted sandwich can make a meal and offer a revelation of flavors. For easier sandwich assembly, start with deli-sliced meats and cheeses, available at our cheese counter; you can buy just what you need, slices for one or enough to feed a family.
