- 1 Tbsp. Organic Fair Trade Coconut Oil $13.99/30 oz. save $6
- 4 Organic Bartlett Pears $1.99/lb. save 50¢
- 2 tsp. Turbanado sugar
- ¼ c. grated coconut
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- 1 container: Alden’s Organic Vanilla Ice Cream $5.69/48 oz. save $1.80
Preparation
1). In a sauté pan over medium heat, melt coconut oil.
2). When oil is hot, add pears and sauté until beginning to soften.
3). Add sugar and continue to sauté until pears begin to caramelize.
4). Add coconut and cinnamon and toss to combine. Set aside.
5). Place a scoop of ice cream in a bowl and top with warm pear mixture. Serve immediately.
