It’s starting to feel like spring: warm breezes, the first Florida strawberries, flowering bulbs, and bunny-shaped chocolates have all been sighted (or felt) around our stores. That means it’s almost time for St Patrick’s Day!
This year, our pastry bakers are making several treats, beginning this Sunday March 4: Irish oat scones (in stores Wednesdays and Saturdays), chocolate orange Guinness quick bread, miniature Bailey’s Irish Cream cheesecake, and Blarney Stone whoopie pies.
Potted shamrocks arrive on the 5th, and corned beef briskets (brined and ready to cook) will be in the meat cases on the 6th. You can boil the brisket following the instructions on the label (online here), or try baking the brisket with this recipe.
