Double Produce Dollars are now available for our FOOD for ALL Share owners. Food for All Shares are available for EBT card holders.
Brenda Camp, Community Outreach
During the month of July, shoppers rounded up their purchases to raise $27,480.95 for Double Produce Dollars.
Double Produce Dollars is an incentive program that makes fresh produce more affordable for our low-income individuals and families participating in the FOOD for ALL program.
We will use the Round Up funds to match produce purchases dollar for dollar up to $10 per day.
Shoppers and existing owners with an active EBT card qualify for a FOOD for ALL share.
Our FOOD for ALL program makes co-op ownership available to all in the community. To be eligible for the free share, a family member must have an active EBT card (previously known as Food Stamps). This includes recipients of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families).
FOOD for ALL owners receive weekly co-op rewards and also have access to Double Produce Dollars (while the funds last).
