The organization presents many events throughout the year\, and most of them are free to attend. You can see a list of all upcoming events here.” \nFrom Triangle on the Cheap. \nDiscover “mini-lobsters” and baby frogs. Explore Swift Creek in search of frogs\, fish\, salamanders\, crayfish\, and dragonflies. Take a net and walk in the creek itself\, cooling off from the summer heat and getting an up-close look at the creek that supports all the animals at Swift Creek Bluffs. \nThis program is open to families with children ages 5 and up. Children younger than 5 may have difficulty with the walk and the creek entrance. \nNets will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get wet and muddy in the creek (we recommend long pants and rain boots or old sneakers). Bug-spray is also recommended but should not be used on hands if you intend to touch amphibians.
