DESCRIPTION:Some of the kids who helped design the book Planting Hope will be in our stores to sign copies of the book. The book was written and illustrated by a diverse group of kids attending the after-school program at Rogers Road Community Center and an ESL class at Smith Middle School\, under the direction of author Susie Wilde and textile artist Peg Gignoux. Some of the kids that participated in the book project are PORCH recipients themselves. \nPlanting Hope costs $20; all proceeds go to PORCH.
