DESCRIPTION:Tell your kids to gather their old books! It’s a book exchange for children\, sponsored by Chapel Hill Bookworms at Southern Village Community Park (Big Picnic Area). Families will save money\, recycle\, and go home with “new” books. Plus\, kids will have a chance to meet other local bookworms. All childrens and young adult books are welcome\, including baby books. Left over books will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House and Book Harvest. \nKids receive stickers depending on how many books they bring\, and use the stickers to “purchase” their “new” books. The organizers (who are teachers) bring a box of books to get the exchange started.
