In 1995 Steve and his wife Lee joined Ginnie to start a goat cheese dairy farm. A pioneer in the Local Food Movement in NC\, the dairy grew to become one of the largest artisan cheese dairies in the South. Goat Lady makes both goat and cow milk cheeses\, partnering with three local dairy farms.
