Each fall\, local businesses\, organizations\, potters\, and bands partner with TABLE to contribute the food\, venue\, pottery\, and music to make this event so fun! \nTicket holders come to the Weaver Street Market lawn in Carrboro to enjoy hearty soup\, drink\, bread\, and dessert in order to support the hungry children in our community. While attendees get to enjoy delicious food\, community\, and live music\, they take home a reminder of the empty bowls and plates of the children in our community by selecting a piece of beautiful\, locally made pottery. \nTABLE’s 6th annual Empty Bowls event is Sunday\, October 14\, 2018 from 3:30 to 6:30 PM. This is an all-ages event! With your ticket\, enjoy live music and receive a meal of hearty soup\, sandwich\, and a dessert\, as well as a locally made pottery bowl. Beer and wine are available for purchase. Live music from local Americana and bluegrass musicians. DESCRIPTION:Weaver Street Market and Johnson Lexus of Durham have teamed up to bring the Second Annual Paperhand Puppet Intervention live show to the Village Green. \nAt 1:00 PM Johnson Lexus will display automobiles on Aberdeen Street and at 2 PM Broadway Bound Studios will kick off the event with an Opening Act (think “Thriller”). This intro will be followed by Paperhand Puppet Intervention! \nAdmission to the event is $5.00 per person to benefit the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation. In the event of inclement weather the rain date will be October 28th from 2-5 PM. If both days are rained out your ticket price will be considered a donation to the Chapel Hill Public School Foundation. (Thank you!) We’re featuring 12+ cheese-makers\, 12+ breweries\, and other artisan food producers. \nEvent will take place at The Cloth Mill at Eno River which is a unique\, urban event venue located in the historic Eno River Mill campus in downtown Hillsborough\, NC. The space is truly beautiful with its exposed brick walls\, massive windows\, high ceilings\, and original wood beams and columns. \nLive music by The Ivory Boys. \nTicket includes a souvenir tasting glass\, unlimited samples of cheese and beer\, insulated bag to store cheese purchases\, live music\, and tasty treats from local artisans including charcuterie\, handmade bread\, crackers\, and small-batch jellies and pickles. \nProceeds benefit RAFI USA.
