DESCRIPTION:It’s the 24th annual Piedmont Farm Tour! This year’s tour includes 41 farms. Farms are open from 2 to 6 PM each day. The tour is self-guided; use the tour brochure or the CFSA’s interactive map to plan your visits and maximize your time at the farms. We suggest visiting 2 to 4 each day. Farms are located throughout the Triangle in Alamance\, Chatham\, Durham\, Franklin\, Johnston\, Orange\, Person\, and Wake Counties. Each fall\, local businesses\, organizations\, potters\, and bands partner with TABLE to contribute the food\, venue\, pottery\, and music to make this event so fun! \nTicket holders come to the Weaver Street Market lawn in Carrboro to enjoy hearty soup\, drink\, bread\, and dessert in order to support the hungry children in our community. While attendees get to enjoy delicious food\, community\, and live music\, they take home a reminder of the empty bowls and plates of the children in our community by selecting a piece of beautiful\, locally made pottery. \nTABLE’s 6th annual Empty Bowls event is Sunday\, October 14\, 2018 from 3:30 to 6:30 PM. This is an all-ages event! With your ticket\, enjoy live music and receive a meal of hearty soup\, sandwich\, and a dessert\, as well as a locally made pottery bowl. Beer and wine are available for purchase. Live music from local Americana and bluegrass musicians.
