UPDATE: We’re open! Come see us 7 AM to 10 PM daily.
The Indy did a great article about the store, which you can read here: https://indyweek.com/food-and-drink/news/weaver-street-market-opens-downtown-raleigh-september-2019/
Our signs went up outside the store in August:
Partnering with A Place at the Table
Last week some of our staff visited A Place at the Table, located a block from our Raleigh store. A Place at the Table is Raleigh’s first “pay-what-you-can” café, and is our first Community Food Partner in Raleigh. A Place at the Table offers healthy food for all—regardless of means. Those who cannot afford to pay for a meal can pay less, volunteer their time, or use a token in exchange for a meal.
We love how friendly the restaurant is, and the food is delicious! Read more about our visit and see photos on our blog.
OPENING WEEK: We’ll be hosting a series of special events to mark the opening of our new Raleigh store, including a sneak preview for co-op owners, public festivities, and special opportunities to meet our local food producers. Stay tuned for more details!
AFTER HOURS EVENTS: Once we open our new location, we’ll host an After Hours event one Thursday evening each month in September and October to bring together our friends and neighbors. These fun community events will feature live music, food samplings, beer and wine tastings, street games, and more.
Become an Owner Today
Anyone can shop at the Weaver Street Market, but many of customers choose to join our community by becoming an owner. When you purchase a share in our co-op, you are making a commitment to grow our community: By supporting local producers. By making food more accessible. By providing living wages and employee benefits. And so much more. Join the co-op and have a voice in guiding our future.
