We love seeing our customers in our stores, but we realize circumstances make online grocery shopping a necessity for many Weaver Street shoppers. We partner with Instacart for selling our groceries online, for curbside pickup or for delivery. We are committed to selling the same products at the same price and quality.
Key Information about Our Online Shopping:
- To receive in-store pricing, place your orders using the button above. Or bookmark this link. Weaver Street Market does not control prices, which may be higher, if you enter Instacart from other links or web searches. Not all sales and promotions can be offered online.
- Standard service fees are paid to Instacart for delivery and for curbside pickup: Delivery Fee is $8.99. Additional fees may be applied for priority delivery. Pickup Fee is $3.99.
- Product inventory is based on the store location you select for Pickup. Instacart algorithms determine which store to shop for Delivery.
- You must purchase a $10 minimum to qualify for delivery or pickup.
- Instacart assigns shopping either to our staff or to Instacart shoppers depending on the volume of orders and availability of our staff to meet the shopping demand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I receive my owner discounts with these services?
We cannot offer owner shopping discounts, including Owner Extras, on Instacart. The co-op does not make a profit on online orders. To keep the prices the same, Weaver Street Market pays a percentage of the sales from each order to Instacart. While this is costly for the co-op, it is a lower-cost option than similar services from other providers we have researched.
Can I use the same payment methods to pay for my online groceries that I use in the store?
Instacart handles the financial aspects of your online shopping transaction, and therefore is unable to accept Weaver Street Market gift cards. Please check with Instacart for your preferred payment method before placing your order.
Why did Weaver Street Market switch from Rosie to Instacart?
Instacart acquired the Rosie platform some time ago. We continued to offer that platform for curbside pickup as it was familiar to our online shoppers. On December 31, 2025, Instacart stopped offering that platform, and we had to migrate to Instacart’s platform.
There are many e-commerce service providers besides Instacart. However, Weaver Street Market has been working with Instacart for many years, and the business processes necessary to maintain services were already in place, making Instacart the best short-term option.
We are actively searching for better e-commerce options for the future—options that align with our values and that provide better privacy and control of customer data. We are working with a small group of co-ops and our co-op trade organization, National Cooperative Grocers to find and implement “co-op controlled” options for e-commerce.
