The Latino Community Credit Union is recognized by the Smithsonian as a National Model for Financial Inclusion.
The Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU) is constantly working to provide their member-owners with the tools and knowledge they need to build wealth and strengthen their communities, while serving as a model for financial inclusion and immigrant integration. Their numbers demonstrate that a financial institution can be both successful and socially responsible.

Recently the LCCU was invited to participate in the Smithsonian’s new initiative, Our Shared Future: Reckoning with our Racial Past. The initiative was created to offer a space for dialogue about race and explore the ways it shapes our society. During the recent virtual forum that launched the initiative, LCCU was recognized as a national example of a financial institution that is “re-imagining a better future.”
Here is the video showcased during the forum. You will be inspired by the LCCU families it spotlights.
