Weaver Street Market, in collaboration with UNC’s African Studies Center and the Town of Carrboro, will host this year’s Africa Fest 2023 on the Carrboro store’s front lawn on Sunday, October 8 from 12 – 2 pm. We are expecting 300 – 500 people.

Africa Fest is an annual celebration of African culture, art, and history. This family event offers our local community an immersive opportunity to engage with the rich contemporary cultures of the continent, while fostering unity and celebrating the beauty of diversity. https://africafest.unc.edu/
