Art:K12 is an exhibition program at our Carrboro store’s cafe that focuses on artwork created by local children and youth. This month’s exhibit is “Youth Arts at the ArtsCenter” and will be on display from Monday, June 15 through Sunday, July 5. This exhibit features artwork created by local students in the Youth Education programs at The ArtsCenter. These programs are taught by professional teaching artists, using professional artistic tools and materials. The ArtsCenter’s Youth Education programs offer young people experiences that spark curiosity and encourage independent and creative thinking. The ArtsCenter exists in order to educate and inspire artistic creativity and to enrich the lives of people of all ages.
