Celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas all at the same time on October 30 by dressing up the kids and donating toys and canned food for people/pets for the Orange County Department of Social Services Holiday Toy Chest. There are two drop-off locations this year, sponsored by Orange County employees:

• Farmers Market Pavilion, 140 E. Margaret Lane, Hillsborough, 7 am to 7 pm.
• Animal Services Center, 1601 Eubanks Road, Chapel Hill, 8 am to 4 pm.

Goodies include free Krispy Kreme coffee and donuts while supplies last. There will be a Kid Costume Contest, with the winner determined by “likes” on Facebook; the prize is a $25 gift card.
