Vollmer Farm in Bunn, NC (about an hour east of the Triangle) is hosting a fabulous blueberry festival. Visitors can pick blueberries, hear live bluegrass and blues music, play on the “Back 40” Playground (which includes the gigantic Pumpkin Jump), watch cooking demos, tour the greenhouse with Farmer Russ, and participate in recipe and pie-eating contests.
