Orange Congregations In Mission’s (OCIM’s) A Walk for Hunger is Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Little River Regional Park in Rougemont. The walk is a major source of funding for OCIM’s food pantry and Meals on Wheels programs. Walkers collect donations, then show up to participate in the walk; there are both long and short walking trails.

Little River Regional Park and Natural Area is a hidden gem in northern Orange County. The park is family friendly with a butterfly garden, playground, and picnic area, and includes an ADA accessible paved walking trail as well as miles of hiking and biking trails. You can serve the community by participating in the walk, then spend an afternoon playing outside.

If you are unable to collect donations and join the walk, you can spread the word by sharing OCIM ‘s Facebook posts or alerting groups who might participate (neighborhood associations, scout troops, exercise groups, etc.), or by sponsoring another walker.
