Weaver Street is celebrating Latinx Heritage Month by featuring the flavors of Mexico on our hot bars. Many of these wonderful selections were influenced by and created with our Latinx employees who work in the food house kitchen. Our cilantro rice, ‘a legend around these parts,’ has been a customer favorite for years. This incredibly aromatic and flavorful rice is the perfect base for some scratch made Baja pintos or delicious braised squash with tomatoes. Waken up your palate with elote – a Mexican street corn – inspired side dish, made with roasted vegetables and topped with creamy citrusy sauce that you’ll just love. For meat eaters, our Salsa Verde Chicken, made with slow cooked peppers and onions, tart tomatillos, tender chicken, lime and fresh cilantro will have you coming back for more!
