Jennie and Kevin began their business selling pastries and flatbread crackers to small coffee shops, stores, and farmers’ markets ranging from the Eastern Shore of Virginia to Hillsborough, North Carolina, which has been their home for the past eighteen years. After observing the popularity of their artisan flatbread crackers, they decided to focus solely on expanding their line. The Accidental Baker’s Artisan Flatbread Crackers are now sold to more than two hundred fifty retail stores and restaurants across the U.S. There are six varieties: Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Tuxedo Sesame, Rosemary & Roasted Garlic, Everything, and Firecrackers, which were created in collaboration with Rucker John’s, a beloved North Carolina restaurant. They have never forgotten their farmer’s market roots and sell regularly at the Eno River Farmer’s Market in historic downtown Hillsborough, where their ever-popular crackers are sold alongside pizza dough, ginger cookies, granola, and a variety of other baked goods.
The artwork on the boxes was created using images from places that are meaningful to the whole family and depict where they have lived, in Virginia and North Carolina. The boxes celebrate the history of their family, and they hope the product inside adds to your own personal celebrations of family history when you purchase the Accidental Baker’s Artisan Flatbread crackers at your local retailer.
