At the 250-acre Gaia Farm, workers follow strict Certified Organic Standards from seed selection and soil preparation to cultivation and harvesting. When Gaia buys herbs, it sources responsibly from organic farms in the United States and abroad, and it uses “Land Steward Harvesters,” a network of ecologically sensitive wild-crafters, to gather responsibly from forest habitats.
