Noble Cider is Asheville, North Carolina’s first hard cider company. They use only western North Carolina apples to create their ciders.
The company began in 2013 by building an apple press and fermenting 2000 gallons of cider, which the local community consumed in under four months. Later that year, they received a North Carolina Value-Added Cost Share grant that helped them increase product by ten times. In 2014, they purchased a new, bigger space. The new cidery allowed them to increase production and distribution and to open a tasting room. It houses an apple processing line, a tasting room, a cider garden, and a packaging line.
Co-founder and cider maker Trevor Baker says, “We’re proud to produce a product deeply rooted in western North Carolina’s apple heritage.” Learn more at https://www.noblecider.com/.
