Our cheese case offers a panoply of fine cheeses that range from international stars to local favorites. The long history of cheese-making in Europe has resulted in many iconic brands. Artisan cheese-making in America has taken off, giving us new varieties that pay homage to the masters while bringing unique new flavors and characteristics to the cheese landscape. And our local food scene supports dozens of original cheeses that local cheese-makers have created.
Our dairy case includes milk, butter, and ice cream from local dairies including unhomogenized milk from Ran-Lew Dairy in Snow Camp. Our milks comes from cows raised free of growth-hormones and antibiotics. Some of the dairies keep the cows on pasture. We even carry yogurt from Georgia. We’re constantly looking to source products locally and will add new products as they become available.
