Delicious, and healthy recipe with Salmon with an out-of-this-world glaze. This one will impress your guests and is super easy to put together.
Ingredients:
- 1 c. applesauce
- 3/4 c. Maple Valley maple syrup
- 1/8 c. soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bottle Big Boss Angry Angel Ale
- 1 lb. Alaskan Sockeye Salmon
- 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
Preparation:
1) In a sauté pan combine the applesauce, maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic and beer.
2) Cook over medium heat until reduced and thickened. Monitor heat to avoid burning. Stir often. Set aside when thickened.
3) In a sauté pan heat olive oil over medium heat.
4) When oil is hot, place salmon in skin side down and cook for one minute. Turn salmon and cook on other side for one minute more.
5) Spoon some of the sauce over the salmon and continue to cook until salmon flakes easily and sauce has created a glaze on the fish.
Serve immediately.
