A quick way to get more protein in your diet: use bone broth powder to make delicious rice.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 1 scoop turmeric Ancient Nutrition bone broth powder
- 1 c. medium-grain white rice, rinsed
Directions:
1) Place salt, water, and bone broth powder in a pot over medium-high heat. Stir and bring to a boil.
2) Add rice to pot, stir once, and reduce heat to make the liquid simmer (small bubbles on the surface–not boiling). Cover with lid.
3) Simmer for 17 minutes covered (don’t peek or remove lid).
4) Remove from heat and let sit covered (again, don’t peek!) for 5 minutes.
5) Remove lid and fluff rice with a fork. Serve.
