Thanks to everyone who helped us reach our goal of $67,500 for TABLE’s kids—that’s more than 31,500 backpack meals!
TABLE sent us this thank you note for the Weaver Street community:
We are grateful beyond words for our partnership with Weaver Street Market! Not only do you all cover 100% of the food for our summer program—which is being delivered to up to 482 local children for 10 weeks—but you supplement the healthy food for our school year Backpack Program that will support between 600 and 650 kids this year.
And, it means so much to our individual families and children. Recently, our volunteers delivered food to an apartment home where kids ran to the door and excitedly announced, “We get to eat today!”

Now that our goal has been met, a new Round Up! campaign is underway.
Round up your purchases to provide healthy food for food insecure kids in Orange County Schools. The donated funds will provide backpack meals during school breaks for Central Elementary School, which is located near our Food House. Approximately 70% of the students are at risk for food insecurity. Our goal is $25,000–enough to provide healthy food for the backpack meals and to develop an emergency food pantry for the school.
