Weaver Street Market is making wonderful flavored butters that can be used in your holiday cooking and baking. The recipes below are simple and made absolutely special and delicious with our butters. Use any leftover butter on hot rolls at the table! The recipes contain items on sale November 2-8, 2016.
Cranberry Orange Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. brussels sprouts – Sale $1.99 – Save $1.50
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
- ¼ c. dried cranberries
- ¼ c. Weaver Street Market’s cranberry butter, melted – Sale $2.99 – Save $1.00
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Stem (if necessary) and cut brussels sprouts in half.
3) Add sprouts to a large bowl. Add orange juice, 2 tsp. zest, and cranberries to bowl.
4) Drizzle melted cranberry butter over sprouts and toss.
5) Spread sprouts on a baking sheet and bake until tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve immediately.
Herbed Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
- ¼ c. small dice red bell pepper
- 1 lb. brussels sprouts, shredded – Sale $1.99 – Save $1.50
- ¼ c. Weaver Street Market’s whipped herb butter – Sale $2.99 – Save $1.00
Directions:
1) Heat heavy bottom sauté pan over medium heat.
2) When pan is hot, add olive oil to pan. Add garlic to olive oil and sauté until fragrant.
3) Add red peppers to pan and sauté 1 minute.
4) Add shredded brussels sprouts to pan and continue to sauté until sprouts are tender.
5) Remove from heat and stir in herbed butter immediately so it will melt.
Serve immediately.
