Pick up Gearhart’s chocolates as a special treat for your mother! These tasty confections come from Gearharts Fine Chocolates in Charlottesville, Virgina, where Tim Gearhart opened up his chocolate shop with fellow chef Bill Hamilton in 2001.
- The pistachio toffee comprises rich, buttery toffee loaded with roasted, lightly salted California pistachios and coated in bittersweet chocolate.
- The dark chocolate caramels comprise soft caramel infused with rich cocoa, a touch of balsamic vinegar, and cracked black pepper, all coated in dark chocolate and finished with smoked sea salt.
- The malt caramels feature the richness of rye brewers malt, dipped in milk chocolate and finished with a dash of hop-infused sea salt.
- The blueberry milk chocolate bar is a handmade Venezuelan chocolate bar with dried blueberries and a hint of lemon zest. (Available only in Carrboro.)
