Last week we attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for TABLE’s new location, at 209 East Main Street in Carrboro.
The move increases the size of TABLE’s facility from 1066 square feet to 1944 square feet. All this new space will help them store and distribute more food, and therefore feed more kids. The new location has a more efficient spacial arrangement for receiving and distributing food, as well as a centralized office space, and the new location is making it easier for TABLE to connect with local businesses.
The increased foot traffic passing TABLE at their new location has already increased the community interest in volunteering. To find out more about volunteering, visit http://www.tablenc.org/, and check out the ribbon-cutting below!
