About Field Day
Field Day is a “controlled label program” that is owned by our primary grocery supplier. That means Field Day products are available to co-ops across the country. Field Day is the co-op version of a store brand. By working together, co-ops are able to have such a brand, which traditionally would have been available only to the big grocery chains.
We know that price is an important consideration for most shoppers, but that they also value the quality of their food. Most Field Day products are certified organic and non-GMO Project verified. Not to mention, they’re delicious! Look for Field Day versions of many of your favorite foods.
Field Day Products
Field Day products are throughout our stores. Just look for the black-and-white logo.
The products include items you need every day: organic cereal at $2.99, creamy or crunchy peanut butters, pasta sauce, cans of beans, and household products like toilet paper, laundry detergent, and dish-washing liquid.
Field Day also produces your favorite treats, like Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese (which comes with a pouch of creamy cheese, not powder) for $1.99, breakfast snack bars, microwave popcorn, and salsa.
Everyday Prices
Generally, you don’t have to wait for a sale to stock up, as Field Day items are priced below other brands’ sale prices every day. But this week, owners can take advantage of the owner coupon to get even lower prices! If you have not yet tried a certain Field Day product, now is the time.
Here at Weaver Street Market, we have a lot of goals for the products we sell. We work hard to find locally made products for our stores, connecting customers to the farmers and artisans that make North Carolina’s food system so special. We offered fair trade coffee and chocolate before most grocery operators knew what fair trade meant, and now have fair trade products from avocados to wine. We also work directly with producer co-ops (like Riojana and Cabot) to secure great products and prices for our customers while having a big positive impact on producers in other locations. And with Field Day, we offer lower-cost staples to make shopping at our stores easier on a budget.
