Surprise your loved one with a jar of Two Chicks Farm’s locally made spicy pepper jelly. Debbie and Audrey grow their own produce on their small farm north of Hillsborough and craft it into preserves like this jelly. They buy additional organic produce when needed from other local farmers. Note: requires a heavy duty stocking.
A bag of Indian Springs pecans will go a long way toward filling a stocking. These pecans come from the orchards of Tim and Karen Haithcock in Wayne County, North Carolina. They’re great for baking, snacking, or sprinkling on salads.
Everyone loves to get a box of Chapel Hill Toffee. This homemade toffee is coated in chocolate and dusted with pecans. It comes in three sizes, for fitting into all kinds of stockings.
Equal Exchange chocolate bars are made with cacao and sugar grown by small farmer co-ops in South and Central America. They are certified organic and fair trade. With flavors from ultra dark to milk chocolate, there’s a bar for every stocking.
