Rob, the manager of our bread bakery, stopped by to offer these suggestions for ways to enjoy their new chocolate cherry bread.
Toasting a slice and slathering it with butter is an obvious choice. Rob also suggests spreading almond butter on a toasted slice, or a soft, spreadable cheese like this weekend’s WOW deal, Fromage d’Affinois (on sale February 10-12).
Rob likes to saute slices of chocolate cherry bread in butter to serve as an easy French toast for breakfast. Paired with a cheddar cheese, the bread can be used to make decadent grilled cheese sandwiches.
And if you’re looking for a Valentine’s dessert, toast slices of the bread or saute them in butter, and serve them with ice cream on top!
