Liz, our Food House kitchen manager, shared her quick and easy recipe for Italian Baked Eggs. She shared that she makes this breakfast most weeks to get ahead, and that it’s great with local eggs and cream, and Nello’s sauce.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 c. of marinara
- 2 eggs
- mozzerella cheese
- heavy cream
- cracked pepper
1) Pour marinara into bottom of small baking dish (see photo).
2) Crack two eggs on top.
3) Top with mozzarella and a swirl of heavy cream. Sprinkle with pepper.
4) Bake at 350 until eggs are set. Enjoy, or refrigerate and reheat for a fast breakfast.
