A holiday favorite, from the Maple Valley Cooperative.
- 1/2 c. Maple Valley organic maple syrup
- 3-4 Tbsp mustard
- 2 Tbsp butter (optional)
Stir ingredients together and after 45 minutes of roasting your turkey or ham, remove the cover and brush on as a glaze:
- For turkey, re-cover and continue roasting.
- For ham, score a one-inch wide pattern not more than 1/4-inch deep, increase temperature by 50 degrees, and continue to cook uncovered. Brush on a third of the glaze every 15 minutes for the remaining cook time.
