Sweet potatoes and delicious Maple Valley organic maple syrup with just a touch of savory thyme make a quick and pleasing side dish for your next dinner. We will be sampling this is in our stores this Saturday (March 12) from 11 to 2 PM.
- 3 large sweet potatoes, cubed
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- ¼ c. water or stock
- 2 tbsp. butter
- ¼ c. Maple Valley organic maple syrup – Weekend Deal! $15.99/32 oz. Save $6.00
- 2 tsp. fresh thyme
Directions:
1) Heat oil over medium high heat. Sauté potato cubes until beginning to brown.
2) Reduce heat to medium low, add liquid and cover, cook until fork tender.
3) Remove lid, add butter and maple syrup an cook, tossing gently a couple of times until well glazed.
4) Add thyme and toss. Serve warm.
