Two seats on the WSM Board are open for the 2017 elections—one consumer-owner seat and one worker-owner seat. The Board of Directors is hosting a candidate information session on Tuesday, June 6, 6:30 to 9:00 PM at the WSM Admin Center. The information session will provide candidates with a deeper understanding of the way the Board does its work.
NOTE: Attending the session fulfills two of the three candidacy requirements—attending a 2017 Board meeting and attending the information session. Candidates also need to talk with a Board member prior to submitting their application.
There will be a light buffet from 6:15 to 6:30 PM. Please RSVP to brenda.c@weaverstreetmarket.coop by 8 AM on Monday, June 5.

2017 Call for Candidates
The Call for Candidates packet includes the steps to become a candidate, information about the structure and responsibilities of Board members, required activities for candidacy, a calendar of important dates, and the application. Applications are due by 10 pm on Monday, July 3, 2017.
2017 Elections Procedures Manual
The 2017 Elections Procedures Manual provides guidelines that ensure fair and consistent elections of members of the Board of Directors. The elections are conducted by the Elections Committee and the process is accountable to the Board of Directors.
