The Co-op Fair combines food, fun, and information. Get your tickets here.
What Is the Co-op Fair?
Our semiannual co-op fairs are held at our Food House facility in Hillsborough. Owners tour the Food House, where our chefs and bakers have prepared tastings and demonstrations. Meet the crew and see what we do every day!
Outside on the patio, local and co-op vendors sample their goods. This year, in honor of our 30th anniversary, we’ve invited some of our long-time partners: Carolina Brewery, Celebrity Dairy, Mapleview Ice Cream, Firsthand Foods, Equal Exchange, Latta Family Farms, Lindley Mills, and Eastern Carolina Organics. Cabot Creamery will be on hand sampling cheeses, and folks from La Riojana Co-op will be pouring their organic, fair trade wines.
Inside, you can chat with members of our board of directors and learn about running in the 2018 board election. Browse informational tables, visit with the winners of the 2017 CCF grants, and learn about applying for a grant for your nonprofit. We’ll have updates on the new Raleigh store and on upcoming improvements to the Carrboro store and lawn. And we’ll have fun giveaways!
