This sweet and savory dish is a delicious and unique flavor treat. A blend of beer, sweet preserves, and just a splash of tangy balsamic makes a great glaze for this plant-based dish or for vegetables.
Ingredients:
- 1 package Delight Soy Nuggets
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- ½ cup beer of your choice
- 6 Tbsp. Bonne Maman peach or apricot preserves
- 2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
Directions:
- Heat 2 tbsp. oil in a medium skillet over medium high heat. Remove desired amount of frozen Soy Nuggets from packaging. Place in pan.
- Heat for about 10-15 minutes or until heated through. Flip nuggets every 2-4 minutes.
- Set nuggets aside and keep warm.
- Add beer to the pan, scraping up all the browned bits.
- Add preserves and vinegar and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened.
- Add nuggets back to pan and toss to coat with sauce.
- Serve with couscous, quinoa or rice. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
