This recipe comes from Lisa Woodward, our Demo Coordinator. We carry a variety of protein powders including Weaver Street Market brand vegan and whey options.
- 4 cups dates, pitted
- 3 cups almonds
- 4 scoops your favorite protein powder
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp. cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 cup coconut flakes, unsweetened
Combine ½ dates, ½ almonds, protein powder, and water in a food processor and puree. Scrape into a bowl.
Place remaining almond and dates in the food processor and process until small chunks remain. Scrape into bowl with pureed mixture.
Add chocolate chips and cocoa powder to the bowl. Mix with spatula until well combined.
Spread coconut flakes on a flat surface like a dinner plate. Scoop out balls and roll in coconut, pressing gently to coat balls. Should make 32 bites.
