In October of 2015, WSM used its direct purchasing model to source delicious, fair-trade, organically farmed wines from the La Riojana Cooperative in northwest Argentina. Over the year we have steadily increased our sales of these wonderful and value-driven wines, adding Torrontes and Bonarda-Malbec to the core lineup of Malbec, Chardonnay, and Cabernet.
Recently we added Malbec Reserva and Pinot Noir Reserva to our wine selection. These Reserva wines cost a little bit more money than the core line, but trust us, they are worth every penny.
The Malbec Reserva has all the rich fruit you’d expect with added complexity and a silky texture that will keep you coming back for more.
The Pinot Noir Reserva blew us away when we first tasted it. It is very expressive with layers of luscious berry fruit and a long elegant finish. We dare you to find a better Pinot Noir at this price!
Reserva Wines are $16.99, on sale for $10.99. Try them out during our New Year’s wine case sale, starting this Sunday. All cases of wine are 20% off January 1-3, 2017.
