- 2 lbs. fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 1/3 c. pure cane sugar
1). Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2). Hull the strawberries, You can do this easily with a spoon as shown in the photo.
3). Cut strawberries in half. If any strawberries are extra large – you can cut into quarters.
4). Toss cut strawberries with sugar.
5). Spread strawberries on lined baking sheet.
6). Place in the oven and cook for 2 1/2 hours. Do not stir while cooking – but turn pan in oven 1/2 way through cooking process.
7). Store in a container in your fridge or freeze for use in recipes.
